    MXT is a hydraulic solution that is lighter, stronger, and more flexible than conventional hydraulics hose. Made with dense wire-braid reinforcement, MXT is a universally applicable premium product offering performance above industry standards. Its diversified application allows you to consolidate inventory while giving you exactly the hose you need, when you need it.

     

    XtraTuff Plus cover on MXT hose means MXT can perform longer on the most demanding applications, offering enhanced ozone resistance and 25x more abrasion resistance than standard hose covers.

    Abrasion is one of the most common ways hydraulics hose fails. XtraTuff Plus is our toughest cover yet, offering 25x more abrasion resistance than standard hose covers.

    OZONE RESISTANCE

    Exposure to ozone can cause hydraulics hose to crack, which can lead to premature failure. XtraTuff Plus offers increased resistance to ozone, which keeps your assemblies operating longer.

    CHLOROPRENE FREE

    XtraTuff Plus achieves excellent temperature, abrasion, and ozone resistance without the use of chloroprene.

    MXT CHANGES THE WAY YOUR OPERATION WORKS 

     

    LOWER WEIGHT, MORE COMPACT, AND MORE FLEXIBLE

    MXT is up to 30% lighter than standard hose, which reduces equipment weight and reduces fatigue on installation. With 40% less force-to-bend, MXT is also faster to install and easier to route than standard hose. And with a smaller outside diameter, MXT can fit more power in smaller spaces.

    We test MXT to 3x the SAE impulse criteria to ensure it delivers exceptional performance in your most challenging applications. That performance comes from densely packed high-tensile steel wire reinforcement. And with the newly-available XtraTuff Plus cover, it's more durable than ever.

    UNIVERSALLY APPLICABLE

    Since MXT meets diverse application requirements and is universally applicable with Gates MegaCrimp™ couplings, MXT can simplify hose selection and consolidate inventory.

     

    MXT is fully compliant with SAE 100R16, plus SAE 100R17 up to and including -12, and meets performance requirements of SAE 100R2 and EN 8572SC, plus SAE 100R19 up to and including -8.
